During the development of the Type 4 70 mm, there was a planned 9cm variant to improve performance. It has 120mm penetration, but the rocket's velocity was reduced to 106m/s because of its weight. These rockets were not only expected as anti-tank weapons, but also as a replacement for mortars to paratroopers. About 3500 units of all types of Type 4 rocket launchers were produced, but didn't entered war. Ingame, its bipod means it very stable while prone. And, while its penetration performance is not so great, due to heavy charge, it does very serious damage if it penetrates. You will see this weapons mainly in maps set in the Japan mainland, and it replaces some of the "captured Bazooka" kits. For example on Battle over Hokkaido it is in the tent on the Japanese HQ after all flags been captured by the Soviets.
It is about as effective as the M1 Bazooka with the T12 rocket, outclassing it if it has M6/Basic rocket variant.
