The Pistolet-Pulemyot Shpagina 41, or PPSh-41, is a Russian full-automatic submachinegun. The Russian name is ППШ-41 or Пистолет-пулемёт Шпагина 41 and it was designed by Georgy Semyonovich Shpagin. The weapon was an effective, but somewhat crude, reliable weapon in combat but not without certain flaws. It was designed as a cheap and simple handweapon. It can fires 900 rpm with a range off 150metres. His magazine was a drum magazine with 71 rounds, similar to ones used in PPD-40, later models, from 1942, use a stock magazine with 35 rounds (ingame 32 rounds) because reloading the magazine was faster. The submachinegun was one of the major submachineguns of the Soviet Army and it was also used by the Finnish army captured. More than 6 millions PPSh-41 submachines are produced. After the war the Soviet take out the weapon out off service. But other country's, like Vietnam, have taken the SMG in service. Until today, army's use this more than 70 years old weapon!
There is also a ppsh-41 with a silencer variant. It is found in a kit in the map Prokhovrovka , in the building next to the repair pad with the kv-1 on it. The kit also comes with a knife and 3 tnt charges.
