The North American B-25 Mitchell, a twin-engine bomber that became standard equipment for the Allied Air Forces in World War II, was perhaps the most versatile aircraft of the war. It became the most heavily armed airplane in the world, was used for high and low-level bombing, strafing, photo-reconnaissance, submarine patrol and even as a fighter, and would go on to gain national fame in the United States as the aircraft used in famous "Doolitle Raid" on Tokyo.

The B-25G was the first Mitchell variant to carry a 75mm nose cannon. Although a total of 21 rounds were carried on board, only 4 rounds or so could be fired during an attack because of the time needed to hand feed the 15 pound shells. In operations, the cannon had mixed results other than consistently bleeding off airspeed from the recoil. Nevertheless, the B-25G saw lots of action in the South Pacific. A direct hit from the cannon could sink most Japanese coastal vessels, the prime target of B-25Gs operating in the South Pacific. Even Japanese destroyers were vulnerable to an attack by these B-25 "cannon ships", and despite the new nose, the aircraft could still drop 2 tons of bombs on target. A total of 405 B-25Gs were produced.

The distinguishing feature of this aircraft are two 298mm "Tiny Tim" unguided air to ground rockets, built in response to a US Navy requirement for an anti-shipping rocket capable of hitting ships outside of their anti-aircraft range, with a payload capable of sinking heavy naval vessels. Historically, they were used on the PBJ-1 naval varaint of the B-25.
Firepower of this weapon is incredible, which is enough to destroy Maus turret bunkers even without a direct hit. That's why it can be found only on late war maps: installed on B-25J on Alpenfestung and TBF Avenger on Alaska.
