The M10 Wolverine, as it was named by the British, (officially 3-in. Gun Motor Carriage M10) was a tank destroyer, created in 1942 on the chassis of the M4 Sherman medium tank. They were dispensed to the fronts without a strong armor to conserve weight. Thereby the Wolverine was fast and agile.
Few Wolverines came from the U.S. armed forces, because it at the same time the Germans brought their new heavy tank Tiger to the front. It was found that the 76 mm gun was too weak for a tank hunter, which had to take on a par with this German monster. Therefore, the Wolverine was soon replaced by the very similar, but much stronger M36 Jackson with a 90 mm cannon which could fight the Tiger and Panther even at long distance. But for the lighter German tanks the Wolverine was a deadly enemy. Many Wolverines were left to the British, which replaced gun with the 17 pdr cannon and then officially named this modification "17pdr SP Achilles". 52 vehicles were also sent to the Soviet Union.

M10 lacks coaxial MG, so you can defend yourself against infantry only with the main gun. The armor is also relatively weak, even medium tanks usually destroy it with one shot. The gun itself is quite useful against medium tanks, but weak against heavier armor. Due to the deficiencies listed M10 should rather attack from the second row or on the flanks, where he can play out its high speed.
