Between 1941 and 1945 the Harley-Davidson company built around 90,000 military motorcycles of WLA type for the Allied armies. These bikes were derived from the civilian WLA version and converted to military use. They were durable and reliable, making it suitable for use in difficult conditions. The American motorcycle soldiers went through a very hard training, in contrast to the German army, the Allies rarely used them for combat missions. They were used mainly for courier, patrol and escort duties in the military and police. The Harley-Davidson had a 750 cc two-cylinder V engine with 23.5 hp, accelerating the motorcycle up to 105 km/h. The sidecar versions were a bit slower. Generally they were not armed. The sidecars, however, were sometimes equipped with a Thompson machine gun for self-defense.
Unlike other models in the FHSW, Harley WLA is unfortunately quite poor and lacks detail.
It provides space only for one player and against the Willys MB it has practically only a slightly higher speed, otherwise Willys is superior in all aspects.
