The De Lisle (Command) Carbine was a British carbine used during World War II. It was fitted with an effective silencer making the gun shot very quiet. There were very few produced and they were only awarded to British commandos.
The De Lisle was based on the Lee-Enfield SMLE Mk III*, but had a custom frame and a customized barrel based on that of a Thompson submachine gun, so that there could be fired with .45 ACP cartridges. The magazine was a custom 7-round magazine of the Colt pistol, but there were also 11-shot magazines produced, the 11-round magazines are the only ones featured ingame. But the best thing about the design was the silencer, which can fire very quietly. So quietly that reloading with the bolt make more noise then shooting. The damper was 510 mm long and was longer than the barrel itself, which gave a lot of space for the gases released during the shooting, which was also a reason for the success of the damper.
In Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon is this rifle used mostly by the British SAS. You can also find them in pick-up kits.

A sniper version is also present on Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon. The scope has a higher zoom than scoped fully and semi automatic guns but less than standard bolt action rifles. Find a Willy SAS Jeep and drop the sniper rifle. Camp far away from the enemy and kill them with your Lisle sniper Carbine!
It is also available as the americans on certain maps set late in the war, in europe especially. It's the only suppressed weapon with a scope in the arsenal of the allies.
