The Browning Hi-Power is a single action semi automatic handgun used by both the Allies & Germany. The model featured in the game is chambered in 9mm and with a 13 round capacity it is just second to the Luger P08 artillerie in magazine capacity for a pistol. This particular Browning Hi-Power model produced by the Inglis plant could also mount a shoulder stock of the same style as the Mauser C96 that also functioned as a holster for the weapon. This model was requested by the Nationalist Chinese which ultimately would not receive any since the contract was cancelled due to a lack of faith in their possibility to win. They also produced a version without this feature and with a fixed rear sight. The groove on the back of the handle is on the model but there is no shoulder stock in FHSW. During the war the pistol production continued in occupied Belgium for the Germans and production started at the Inglis plant in Canada for the allied powers. Over two thousand pistols were bought by the Finnish from the Belgian factory, the M/35 model shoulder stock was like the Luger P08 artillerie in that the leather holster could be put together with the stock.

While it is available in many different kits it is the standard pistol for most of the British "specops" pick up kits. For instance the kits that are deployed from the Willys MB SAS variant. Quite uncommon, but German officers may have the pistol as their sidearm throughout the war as it is one of the six that are available in kits with a random pistol. British officers and tank commanders may also get the pistol especially in settings set in 1944 or later.

On the map Way to Paris is it the standard pistol for the French RCL 3.45in Mk 1 kit.
