What if Alaska was attacked by the Soviet Union in 1948?

Alaska view

Equipment[]

Soviet infantry are armed with AS-44 assault rifles, suppressed PPSh-41 sub-machineguns and captured Panzerfausts. Soviet armour has advanced aswell. IS-3 and '-4 tanks and the like are deployed once the soviets secure the shore.

The US forces have some special vehicles of their own to counter this.

The US have three different bases to the northeast there is an airfield with a pt boat at dock. In the Northwest is the main base where majority of their vehicles are and kits to call in Boeing B-29 and Douglas C-47 air support. The tunnel south of the main base is scattered with interesting objects including some captured german equipment and the To-Go Railgun. Kits with Gewehr 43 and Kampfpistole, MP 40 and kits with Solothurn S-18/1000.

A scrapyard with a Tiger VI E that is heavily damaged is there, along with other heavy tanks which are completely destroyed.

Alaska Scrap

The V-1 is there also in both pristine and damaged condition, but has no purpose in the fighting. Found in and near a testing facility for it.

V-1 Crash Alaska

The Wild Wild Willy, a type of fictious vehicle otherwise reserved for the Adak Race map is there to act as transportation. It can be found outside the tunnel on coordinates A3.

Easter Eggs The thumbmail for the map is a Titan-II missile inside a silo. The map file contains some unused icons for the T23E3 (now known in FHSW as the M27), M26E2 and the Soviet AVT-40 select-fire version of the SVT 40.
